The Northern Lights over a calm Northern European fjord

Northern Europe & the Fjords.

Norway, the Baltic & the Northern Lights

Northern Europe rewards the curious traveler with some of the planet's most dramatic scenery and storied cities. Sail the deep Norwegian fjords beneath sheer cliffs and tumbling waterfalls, or trace the Baltic capitals from Copenhagen to the palaces of the north.

In summer, the midnight sun keeps the decks bright past midnight; in the shoulder seasons, dedicated voyages chase the Northern Lights along the Norwegian coast, with some lines so confident of the aurora they guarantee a sighting. Either way, the region pairs raw natural beauty with deep maritime history.

From the geirangerfjord to the Arctic Circle, we'll match you with the right ship and season, whether you're after long summer days among the fjords or the green shimmer of the aurora overhead.

When to go

The best time to sail.

Two very different voyages share this coast. Summer brings the midnight sun, the fjords in full flow and the Baltic capitals at their warmest; the dark months bring dedicated aurora sailings along the Norwegian coast. We book the one you've come for.
